More space for cold treats

Project: Construction of 5 buildings with a total area of 4,000 m² as general contractor

The Eisbär Group produces ice cream products for retail companies throughout Europe. To expand the Apensen site, productivity needed to be significantly increased and storage capacity expanded.

G+H Kühllagerbau carried out all construction work as the general contractor. All commissioned building sections were integrated into the existing facility. A two-story production building was constructed, as well as a new fully automated high-bay warehouse and a loading building with a connecting bridge to the production area. A photovoltaic system is located on the roof of the new high-bay warehouse, and the energy it generates can be used directly for the facility’s own consumption.
